Cerebellum Corp. Releases Two New STEM DVD Series

Cerebellum Corporation has released the Daily Planet: Social Studies Series and the Daily Planet: Physical Science Series. The Daily Planet DVD programs supplement science and STEM curricula and explore the scientific aspects of current topics and events though the use of interviews, field pieces and real-life experiments.

The Daily Planet: Social Studies Series takes a look at the different aspects of human society, mixing cultures and events from the past and present. From inventors to architects to modern day crime scene investigators, the series features inspiring individuals and phenomena that have impacted science and society. The Daily Planet: Physical Science Series looks at both the unseen and unknown. The program explores such topics as outer space, air, energy and sound.

Hosted by science enthusiasts Jay Ingram and Natasha Stillwell, Daily Planet is a series that provides discussion and commentary on the scientific aspects of current events in a fast-paced, enlightening and entertaining way, according to the announcement. Produced by Exploration Production Inc. and previously seen on Discovery Canada, each episode is a complement to any educational library or school media collection.
