Qwizdom ReadySet combines a standards-based curriculum package with instant assessment features and an automatic reporting system. Designed to supplement existing curriculum, the ReadySet software is based on current legislative requirements and state-specific learning objectives.

The program uses a 100-day plan of instruction and assessment with daily mini lessons that concentrate on learning processes and higher-level thinking skills. Pretest, formative, and post-test assessments are provided.

The daily 10-minute lessons and formative assessment quizzes help teachers instantly evaluate each individual student's mastery of state standards. To ensure that every concept is covered, each question and lesson is tagged to the appropriate standard. The subject areas include reading, math, social studies, and science.

The ReadySet program incorporates longer benchmark tests that assess student progress based on specific state standards. The tests measure adequate yearly progress as required by the No Child Left Behind legislation. Teachers can visually display student progress with charts and graphs to immediately determine lesson effectiveness.

Advanced reporting features provide daily, weekly, quarterly, or yearly data in real time. Progress can be examined by student, by classroom, by school, or by district. The ongoing assessment options help educators adjust classroom strategies to prepare students for high stakes testing.

ReadySet is fully compatible with Qwizdom's Interact software, a program that creates interactive classroom presentations. Working with Interact, teachers can organize and present slides and activities, share resources using the program's networking features, import PowerPoint presentations, and add multimedia files to lessons and to questions. Teachers can add or delete questions and lessons to match individual classroom, school, or district learning objectives.

The ReadySet program can be used with the handheld Qwizdom Student Response System for class participation in a variety of review games such as Quandary, Fast Track, Baseball, and World Cup Soccer. ReadySet is also compatible with gradebook software programs.

Qwizdom ReadySet materials are available for California, Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, and Texas. Programs for additional states are in development and will be added in the coming months.
