Tom Snyder Productions has announced it is releasing an updated version of Scholastic Keys. The software, which provides elementary students with a kid-friendly interface and educational enhancements for Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, now includes built-in, easy-to-implement lesson plans with activity files to further help teachers integrate technology into their language arts, math, science, and social studies curricula.

Scholastic Keys helps teachers incorporate technology skills and enhance lesson plans while maximizing the school's investment in Microsoft Office, according to the announcement. Now the software will come with a collection of lessons, as well as a variety of templates, drawing tools, and hundreds of graphics, sound effects, text-to-speech reader, and movies to provide an early introduction to using Microsoft Office.
