News@NECC: Adobe Announces New Multimedia Education Offering for the K-12 Market

Adobe Systems Inc. has announced a new education software and resource offering that includes Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 and Adobe Premiere Elements 1.0 software, and a comprehensive Teacher Resource Center CD. The package is designed to provided a foundation for integrating multimedia into the curriculum through lesson plans and tutorials combined with photo and video editing software.

Using Adobe Photoshop Elements and Adobe Premier Elements, teachers can enhance learning across subjects with photo essays, video book reports, newscasts on current events and documentaries, according to the announcement. The Teacher Resource Center CD contains product tutorials, sample lesson plans, and training to jump-start the use of the software in the classroom.

Adobe's education software and resource offering is available Windows to qualified educators for $99.
