EBSCO Publishing has announced the availability of the new Humanities International Complete database via EBSCOhost. An index-only version, Humanities International Index, is also available.

Humanities International Complete is a comprehensive database of humanities content, providing full text of hundreds of journals, books, and other published sources from around the world. Produced by Whitston Publishing (an imprint of EBSCO Publishing), Humanities International Complete provides cover-to-cover indexing and abstracts for more than 1,700 journals and contains more than 1.5 million records, according to the announcement.

Major subject areas include literature, philosophy, the arts, history, culture, and multi-disciplinary humanities titles, with a special emphasis on literature and the literary arts. Title coverage goes back as far as 1929. The database includes all of the data from American Humanities Index and Humanities International Index, plus unique full-text content, much of which is not found in other databases.
