Content/Features: The Imagine Easy Classroom Suite has materials for flexible instructional resources including scaffolded, standards-aligned, subject-specific curriculum for grades K–12 with a customizable platform.
Skill development includes key literacy skills needed to interact with content-specific texts and videos such as pulling key information from texts; comprehending information from audio, visual, and other sources; understanding point of view, academic vocabulary, and text structure when reading; and much more. All are aligned to state, Common Core, and ISTE NETS standards.
Students practice and apply these essential skills through teacher-generated writing prompts, projects, and assignments. Students complete lessons within each module at their own pace and can retake lessons not mastered.
Student learning is tracked through comprehensive assessment and analytics. Teachers and administrators track student progress by individual, class, or school levels, monitoring student growth.
Teachers can modify existing content from Academy Library, or create new content, writing prompts, and other activities to address the needs of all students. Administrators can modify, create, and share content with all teachers in a school to ensure full support of their instructional goals.
Imagine Easy Classroom Suite content is designed to seamlessly integrate into daily content area instruction and can be completed anytime, anywhere. Instruction can be individual or small group oriented; the Suite can be used in flipped classrooms..
Imagine Easy Classroom Suite can be used with Google Apps for Education, LMS platforms, and other classroom resources. Other tools include an interactive digital notebook, plagiarism prevention, digital annotations, notecards, highlighting and much more. Content/Features Rating: A
Ease of Use: Intuitively designed with good directions, Imagine Easy Classroom Suite is relatively easy to use, but is large, with a lot of facets. Newer computer users especially may require extra help, and most will require some. Ease of Use Rating: A
Product Support: From the website, product support is pretty much invisible with no contact information at all. Support is good with paid subscription, but double-check that it is adequate for your needs. Product Support Rating: A-
Recommendation: Imagine Easy Classroom Suite is an excellent solution for any school district with adequate student computer access. Due to limited online information, I urge school districts considering its use to try a free demo and explore content to be sure it is appropriate for their situation. Recommended
