For February 1, 2015: Want to become a weather forecaster? (Or just revel in meteorological science!) At the National Center for Atmospheric Research's Center for Science Education website, Web Weather for Kids, learn the ingredients for weather by making fog in a jar, creating a portable cloud, observing conduction, producing convection currents, whipping up a blizzard, and simulating a tornado. Teachers will find many activities and resources to engage their elementary meteorologists.
