To learn more about this fascinating concept, watch the video Eli Pariser: Beware online "filter bubbles." He demonstrates how individual searching and viewing habits can dramatically affect searches as Web service companies strive to tailor search results to personal tastes. The "filter bubble" can limit information. This is a must see video for educators.
