For November 15, 2010: Use the activities on the San Jose, California-based Tech Museum's robotics website to lay the foundation for studying robotics. Recognize the advantages and limitations of robots, how they function, and their impact in the workplace. Have students operate a virtual robotics rover. Then, launch your own hands-on classroom robotics programming and experiments. Highly recommended are the Lego Kits that are easy to build and program at Mindstorms http://mindstorms.lego.com/en-us/Default.aspx.
