Ohio Peregrine Falcons
Posted Apr 1, 2006 Print Version     Page 1

For April 1, 2006: Each spring when the falcons nest, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources sets up a live cam on the 41st floor of the Rhodes Tower in Columbus. From the DNR's Ohio Peregrine Falcons site, it's fascinating to watch the hatching and growing process. The Web site has a close-up wide-angle view of the nesting box that is periodically changed depending on the activity. There are also falcon facts, photo highlights, and much more. This is an excellent site to use with students of all ages.
